Thanks Jeanette!

With a lot of you guys I have a 'click', sometimes it feels like I have known you forever. That is the case with my blogging twin sister (as we call each other) Jeanette of Handmade. Jeanette had an exhibition of her art work and when it was finished she sent me this as a surprise:
Look at that! Isn't Jeanette very talented? I love it!
Thanks a million!
Het is geweldig! Bedankt Jeanette, ik ben er blij mee!

The artwork travelled together with this handmade card:

On the back is a sweet note, thanks a lot Jeanette.
Even though you don't have wings you are always welcome to visit me!
The card is hanging here, above my computer where I spend way too much time.
The art work is hanging here, in my bedroom where I always spend too little time.

Don't forget to check Jeanette's blog Handmade and see for yourself how talented she is.
You go blogsisters!
Thanks for your visit/ bedankt weer voor je bezoek
LiLi M.

Ma chère ZUSTER (is that correct?) I consider many of you part of what I call THE SISTAHOOD, and you dearest are a kindred spirit. It has been a lovely 21 months for me to connect with fabulous artists, writers, French women, Spanish ladies, lovers of all-around beauty that make the effort to give each other such magic. It is strange to me, and i often ponder on this, how people in our physical world just don't extend the kindness that you all do. Maybe the dimension of ABSENCE does make the heart grow fonder. In any regards, such is the sweet life that we share, and it is always a blessing to give AND receive such gifts of thoughtfulness. YOU ARE SPECIAL, Lili!!!! I will check out her blog NOW! GROSSES BISES, Anita

Hi! Yeah he sure is my prince of dreams. He thought that he would quit taking portraits and start with something else. It wont be a loss cause he is a person with many skills and ideas. The backdrop curtains will be left on the wall so he can take pictures if he need. But I have warned him that I'm going to clutter this room with old furnitures (heavy to move) sewing machines and tables to work by. What a lovely friend you have. I will take a look at her blog. Hi Lili,

what a lovely gift.
I love surprises.

I have not spent a lot of time on the computer lately because of some hand issues.
But now that my hand feels a little better I am spending way too much time here as well, my DH said that I Am going to wear away my fingerprints.
It is funny that you mentioned “click” because I just said that I have a blog land click, so many do not understand the fondness I feel for my blog friends. It is wonderful to have kindred spirits across the land and across the sea…

Lili dearest, no one makes me laugh like you do. You have such a great humor about you!!! I am spending a lot less time on the computer, but still to little time sleeping. it's an age thing I think, I just can't seem to sleep well these days.
Your lovely gift from Jeanette, is so clever. I love the sweet faerie in the spoon. This must make you smile everytime you look at it.
I always love your visits, and coming here is like hopping over to visit a dear, dear friend.

Oh Lili, it was so fun to look up Dutch words and finally find the word for pearl earring; I just saw the movie with Scarlett Johannsen for the SECOND time a couple of nights ago and I got the idea for the pearl post. But all of YOU gave me the idea to make a string of PEARL FRIENDS and talk about how I treasure you all. How is your autumn going? I hope it is well...and enjoy it all dearest one.
