Eline's huis

Last Saturday, I told you before, I was at the book signing at Pipoos, where I met Eline Pellinkhof the author of 'Eline's huis' (huis=house) and her friend Helga, who has made a lot of the embroidery in Eline's book. Like this cushion, which is truly a masterpiece in my opinion:
It was so much fun to see the projects of the book in real life and of course I was a bit overwhelmed and made a lot of photos without flash, which are all blurry :-(
I had my book signed and even my photo taken with these lovely ladies. It was so nice to meet them in real life.
I already showed you the cushions that I'm making, but I didn't tell you that 'Eline's huis' has a paper line too:
Here some cards at Pipoos made with this paper line, maybe by this talented lady (I forgot to ask).
I started making a bunting of this paper; work in progress:
Now this time Blogger won't let me upload any more photos as I ran out of space grrrrrr and I have to purchase some more. I'll do that in the morning, or does somebody know how to avoid it? (it is only 5 bucks a year, but hey I'm Dutch!).
Have a great and creative week!
groetjes LiLi M.

It must have been thrilling to have met these two. Love your photo together. I love the birdie bunting too!! Unfortunately, Blogger is the cheapest route to go unless you want to host your photos somewhere else (it will be more expensive than blogger). I know how you feel. I just had to renew my Photobucket account for the year (24.95)!

Hugs!

Hello lovely lady!
Why on Earth does Blogger want to suck all your money???!!! I've always uploaded loads of pictures and never paid one Euro for that!
What a cute bunting you're making!
Thank you for your great tip about how to pick a horseman up, ha ha!

Groetjes

Vera

Hi LiLi,
So lovely to be able to meet a favorite writer. Her work is lovely too. I ran out of space recently also, and they said it was because I had Picaso. So, I ordered more space. I do post so many photos though.

Lovely to see you LiLi.

I love those colors. And I love your photos. I would check with Blogger before you fork over more money, though. I got a similar notice from Typepad once and then discovered that a lot of people, no matter how many photos they'd uploaded, were asked to upgrade - never hurts to check. (I must be a little Dutch, too!)

How fun, Lili!
I watched the YouTube on her web-site what a great book.
Her paper and book reminds me of the designs by Laura Ashley from twenty or more year’s age.
So pretty I really love the reds and grays…

Hoi Lili,

Madelief

The needlepoint pincushion makes me want to get some canvas and starting stitching- I agree it is a work of art.

Your bird bunting is intriguing- I want to see it when you have room for more pictures :)

Huh... is je blog nou al vol??? Nee toch???

Oh Lili, I am here, where I love to be, after a long and wild day at school! I love my job, but lately I have been so tired, I guess it is because this year we have 50 children instead of 25! I had read your WONDERFUL comment this morning, but was unable to visit until now. Oh Lili, what a joy it is, isn't it, to grow and develop our minds and humanity through EACH OTHER through this media that does allow us to force certain modalities in our communication that otherwise are lost in real-time contact. All I know dearest, is if I DID meet you in person, I would love my sweet Lili just the same, for I can usually tell by a person's picture a bit about their personality. Being a teacher and examining my students' pictures the summer before I get them for the new school year, I usually am right when I see a certain sparkle in someone's eye that tells me they are a bit naughty but wonderful! Or a soft and gentle smile usually indicates a shy personality.....but the possibilities and facets of our lives is what makes any relationship through real or virtual time worth all the work.....I so love your world....I always have. And you dear Dutch friend, you are always so loyal to give a kind word.

Many happy days to you as he HOLIDAYS APPROACH!!! YYYYYEEEEE! Bisous, Anita
