Jeany in a box/ttle!

Sometimes things are just going way different than you thought and hoped that they would go. But in the end everything seem to come together at once. Like in this story; all is well that ends well!

Last year I showed you my bedroom. This lovely lady:

(Sorry Jeany, I had to steal this photo from you!)

...offered me to make me one of her beautiful boxes, and I, of course, agreed immediately and thankful!
This is the box she send me:

It is gorgeous and so well made, the pattern on the box just matches the pattern on the lid. Jeany is a real genius! She even made a tutorial about box making.

Tot in detail perfect afgewerkt!
Let's take a closer look, isn't the closure too cute?

En ook de binnenkant helemaal àf!
The inside is just as perfect as the outside!

I'll keep my handkerchiefs in here. Mmm, maybe I should give Jeany one, as I still hadn't blogged about this treasure yet, shame on me!

Jeany was so generous, with the box she sent me this pepper and salt shaker and I thought both gifts would be suitable for Vanessa's Mad Hatter's Tea Party, yes it is that long ago *blush*. But somehow the items didn't fit in the post and not in the next post and then there was something else and then there was a challenge and then...well...

To thank Jeany I made her this folder; filled with some chocolate and a magazine, if I remember well!

Apart from a talented box maker Jeany is a gifted tag maker too and now for the great news:
She just opened up a Dawanda shop and sells her artwork, boxes and tags, over there.
So that is why now is the moment to blog about Jeany's beautiful box and I can finally live happily ever after without feeling embarassed that I still didn't blog about this generous gift!
Pffew what a relief!

Here is to you Jeany! Good luck with your shop!
Thanks Jeany, for the gorgeous box and your patience!

Btw: did you notice this?
Tous les deux mois! From now we can read my favorite French magazine every 2 months! Yeah!

Don't forget to pay Jeany a visit and you can still sign up for my OWOH give away in the previous post!
Thanks for your visit and your lovely comments as always, xoxo LiLi
xoxo LiLi M.

Hi Lili, Nice post. That box is darling. Would you check by my blog and read a story about a young mother and send her a world of encouragement? She has slammed off her feet. Blessings

Hi Lili, That's a gorgeous box and I love the fabrics Jeany had used for it. It's really perfect how she had matched the pattern of the fabric on the box with the lid.
Have a wonderful day :-)!

You've been a very busy blogger- I have 3 posts to catch up on! It takes me forever to make it through my favorites list so I'm always behind on reading.
Aren't you excited about Valentine's Day? I know I am! My husband and I are going to our first ballet, Sleeping Beauty. We're really looking forward to it... Are you doing anything special?
Hope you have a wonderful weekend:)
