A collection of seven: needle booklets and some spring greetings

 

7 needle booklets. 7 naalden mapjes. 

 

Eigenlijk valt hier maar weinig over te vertellen. Ik heb precies 7 van deze naaldenboekjes. Ik vind ze gewoon leuk, ze nemen weinig plaats in en ze zijn ook nog eens leuk of in ieder geval praktisch om cadeau te geven. Van het mandje met de roosjes, heb ik er al heel wat cadeau gedaan. Ik heb de meeste op rommelmarkten gekocht. De 2 rechts "Hausfrau" en 'Stitching Time", kreeg ik van mijn bff Mrs. H. Die middenonder kreeg ik van Vicki van Hollyhocks bij mijn allereerste swap in 2007. Vandaag hou ik het kort, zodat ik er ook nog een gewone post kan uitgooien, volgens afspraak! De naaldenmapjes liggen te pronken bij mijn verzameling naaibenodigdheden. 

Needle booklets, what to tell about them? I have exactly 7 of these. I just love them, they hardly take any room and I love to give them as presents, in a card or in a swap. I have given the roses basket to many girls already! I bought most of these on flea markets. 'Hausfrau" and "Stitching time" both on the far right were given to me by my bff Mrs. H. "Sew and Stitch" under middle was a gift from Vicki of Hollyhocks in my first swap in 2007. All these booklets are shown in my showcase with sewing notions. Today's number seven will be a short post. 

And now for something completely different: 

Spring is in the air! Last week I visited my relatives and I brought a small plant, a primula, for each family. As I bought a tray of those plants, I had to make them look like presents, but of course I forgot to take photos. So especially for you:

De lente zit in de lucht! Vorige week bezocht ik mijn familie en nam voor ieder gezin een voorjaarsgroet, een primulaatje mee. Omdat ik een tray gekocht had moest ik ze zelf nog als cadeau verpakken. Ik vergat daar natuurlijk foto's van te nemen, maar speciaal voor jullie laat ik hier na een week nog eens zien hoe ik ze opleukte: 

Eerst maar eens de pot verpakt in een boterhamzakje. 

First you wrap the pot in a small plastic bag. 

Vervolgens pakte ik de pot in met een luchtig voorjaarsstofje. 

Then you wrap the pot in a matching spring fabric. 

Daarna draaide ik een tulen strik rond de pot. 

Afterward you tie a tule ribbon round the pot. 

Voor mijn familieleden maakte ik nog roze kaartjes waar ik 'een lentegroet' opzette, maar dat ging me nu te ver. Deze blijven hier, als vrolijk lente cadeautje voor mezelf. 

For my relatives I added small pink cards with 'Spring greetings', but these stay here as small presents to myself.
